The Content Writer Comment and Spam Policy

Links that commenters may add to the blog comments section of The Content Writer are now “do-follow.”  Therefore, I felt it necessary to clarify the conditions under which comments will be approved and links included, so please read them carefully.

Please note, the “Askimet” plugin to filter spam is installed and activated on this blog.

Submitting a comment to this blog indicates that you have read and agree to these terms.

  1. I have the complete authority to decide whether a comment is spam or not, or whether it otherwise violates my comment policies, and my decision remains final.
  2. I will immediately delete comments with links that contain anything about pharmaceuticals, dating services, natural herbs, and anything else I consider spam, so don’t even bother.
  3. Your comments will also be deleted if I find they are:
  • Unrelated to this blog or the post on which the comment is placed, or that I deem are irrelevant or of no value to my readers or to me.
  • Submitted for the purpose of financial gain without actually participating in the discussion at hand.
  • Abusive or promoting violence, hatred, racism, etc. toward any individual, or group of people, or country.
  • An apparent conflict of interest, such as linking to or promoting content designed solely to malign a person, people, or entity. Even if you seem to agree with something I say, I’m not going to knowingly condone a malicious site or comment.
  • The list is subject to change without notice, so check back before commenting if you want your comments to be approved.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy or this blog, please contact me at info[at]crunchydata[dot]com.
