At TheInfoMine.com, our brand new revenue sharing site for writers, we are attempting to provide a very simple to understand platform. We don't seek ownership of content and allow our writers the freedom to request an article be deleted if they wish. Hopefully we can offer writers something better than "content mills' have in the past.

Bingo. So are you going to come and tell us more about this sometime? I know you're a careful researcher, Brian, and would love to hear how this has been working out for you. It's the perfect strategy to write articles for backlinks and if they earn money, it's an extra perk. It means focusing on just a few niches, but that's better for SEO anyway.

I'm quickly becoming a fan of useing the content mill sites to send backlinks to your blogs that you own. Use them just like you would an article directory, make a few extra bucks on the side and if the content mill site goes away you still have your breadwinner under your control.

Despite eHow earnings slipping my blog earnings are up a ton because of this method... and if eHow ceases to exist my blog will be doing just fine. All articles I posted on eHow will simply go up somewhere else and send more backlinks to my true money sites.
